Oh my God. You've made me ship this. Wow. Wow a thousand times over. This was so brilliantly written, so well done - I started noticing the 'love is brightest in the dark' when they were meeting at night! Definitely bookmarking this. And I lovelovelove the Zutara written in. :)

WOAH that was a really good Sokka/Azula fic. Awesome! You're a great writer at that super-deep-feeling-connection type of thing.

This was extremely well written and you've portrayed the characters very well. The ending was kinda unexpected to me but it did justice to the story and I loved it.

Beautiful. I've always had a soft spot for Sokka and Azula, but incorporating Oma and Shu into their relationship so flawlessly? Especially when Oma and Shu's story is often seen as Zutara, rather than Sokkla! Genius, sheer genius.

Azula's voice here is very human, but not at all OOC. This is VERY hard to achieve. Hell, YOU deserve a medal for doing just that! (Well, you did win an award over at dotMoon's UFCawards. That should count for something!)

hey, great story! your literacy skills are insane. i love th sokkla pairing and i think you should do more! the only thing i was dissapionted in was that they never kissed or truly embraced. are you not a fan of love/romantic scenes? loved the reference to oma and shu, and when i read there was character death i instantly thought you might go with a "romeo+juilet" theme.
but stil im not complaining, it was fantastic 9.5/10 for sure

Wow! I've never found a very good SokkaAzula story before... this is actually my first one... but now, I really, really like this pairing. I've always sort of liked it a little bit, because I really like Good!Azula, but now, it's one of my favorite pairings, I think... In my own story, Azula is paired with Jet, but I think I like SoZula better now. Hmm... do you know any good AangZula stories I can read? I sorta like that pairing, too...

I love the twist on the Oma/Shu story! Usually, that only applies to Zuko and Katara, but you made it so refreshingly different and unique and so sad. It reminds me of Sokka losing his first love, Yue. Poor Sokka. He really isn't lucky with women, is he?

Combining the story of Oma and Shu, with Azula and Sokka was truly inspired, it helped to solve the central problem of Sokkla, by giving Azula a credible reason for not killing, wounding or otherwise subduing Sokka, when they first meet.

I was really sucked in by the quality of the writing, and my only complaint would be that its not longer (although now that I think about it, that might have diluted the awesomeness just a little). :)

Really good! How did you think of the Oma and Shu dream to go along with it? Very good story!

Hey. From your author's notes, it didn't sound like you liked this story very much--but I thought it was great. It was a really original idea, and an original pairing. I'm actually a fan of Sokka/Azula, but there's hardly any fiction out there for it, and even less that's readable, let alone good.

oh my gods, i have never seen/met anyone who has urges to kill characters off like i do! i have this thing where my fingers are temporarily taken over by evil little bugger aliens and they make me write horrible stuff! i hate killing characters! i think Katara is the easiest to kill off, personally. she just WANTS to be killed, the way i (the evil little bugger aliens)see it. i've killed her, what, five times? once i figure out how to upload stuff, i can refer to it. but since i haven't yet... oh well.
i seriously fell in love with your fic, Bits and Pieces. i was almost in tears by the time it ended! you gave the characters such depth, and i could really FEEL the hurt they were experiencing, particularly Azula. POR baby! wow. first you turn my Taang, and now you make me pity Azula. miracles must really b possible. after reading As It Should Be, which i commented on also, i was like OMG, that's who Toph should totally be with, because until then i was torn between Sokka and Aang.but Aang needs her more, seeing how Katara's obviously going to end up with Zuko.
