Your poem is well-written and interesting, but I was hoping to read a story about the characters in the movie. This poem seems to be more about a guy talking about a girl that he's infatuated with.

It was a very good poem. I'm kinda guessing that it is perhaps referring to Caroline, Jake's girlfriend...the prom queen who was all into looks, popularity, and partying. That was my take on the poem, at least. Anyhoo, really good poem.

I agree ... Yeah, the main character was KIND OF vain, but that doesn't implicate anything. I actually liked the parts of the movie I saw ...

The poem is powerful; I enjoyed reading it because I too get disgusted with people's myspace pics that are all, "OMG I'm so hot," when in reality they're fake. But ... Next time, might I suggest putting it on sister site, That's a site meant totally for original works and pieces, and has its own archive for original poetry.
