Aw...that was so sad. I especially liked the truth of Sarah's wish to be the one to go out first, not to be left behind in grief for the next one she loves. I love that song by GLB, it's too bad his stuff is so hard to find.

What a great idea - I wish I'd thought of it. Of course it makes sense, if everybody else around her keeps coming back from the dead to chat - why not Conchobar? A favorite sentence: "They never opened because she knew who it was and who it would never be and she couldn't think about the difference just then." I love the verbal juxtaposition of the two men in Sara's mind. You write some very chewy stuff. This is excellent and I really enjoyed it, as I have all your work, thank you.
