The "what if?" situation seems very real... the failed attempt at counciling, Dean and Sam's estrangement through lack of shared interests, Sam's lying-everything really. Dean seemed very in character, willing to help/encourage his brother in less than goodie goodie activities but worried when he realizes something is really wrong. My favorite part must have been the ward escape-Sam really is smart and clever and I'm glad Sammy the lion made an appearence. Thanks for writing (I hope there's a sequal)! mb
the muse77 2008-07-12 ch 20,	abuseWow! I absolutely loved your story! You have a great writing style and I was hooked from Ch. 1. Also, even though it was AU you nailed the boys' personalities. I've noticed a lot with AU stories, their personalities get extremely altered. It's natural they are a bit different due to it being AU but when it gets to the point where they really aren't our Dean and Sam anymore it's no bueno! Anywho, nuff rambling! Great story and I hope to read more of your stuff!

I was a bit worried that the boys weren't going to have the great bond that shows so well in the show, but you didn't disappoint! No SN story would be complete without that special bond and Bobby to boot! More please. CW
alphabet 2008-03-17 ch 20,	abuseThat was AMAZING. I loved how you wrote the Winchesters--still recognizable, but not exactly the same because they wouldn't be, now would they? The supporting cast was good, too. (Yay Bobby!) I admired and wanted to throttle both Sam and Dean, they both were trying so hard to do the right thing, but what is the right thing? So intriguing at the end there, I'm hoping for a sequel to delve into that? Thanks for writing this story!
Lilyblue 2008-03-10 ch 20,	abuseThis was a great fic and an interesting AU. It has elements of other fanfiction stories (Sam hunts, dean doesn't genre) but takes it in a totally diferent direction. The characterization was on spot and the Dean and Sam dynamic was wonderful! This was definitely unique and different, therefore fun to read.
