Wow! A very powerful piece. This is how I imagine post-XMen3 to be. When he saw her leaving, he was probably the only one who actually understood *why* she needed to get the cure.
The third person POV works wonderfully well, by the way. It adds an urgency that this fic may have lacked otherwise.

Her confronting him makes me want to write my own Renji/Tatsuki...
