Excellent Story !! It makes hearts melt ! Their love has certainly survived that silly end in the movie. Good think many of us can see it, and great thing that you can describe it in such a sweet way !

Woa, lovely and poetic prose, rich in imagery, dripping with luxurious vocabulary, and then... you sorta snapped me out of the scene with the crude profanity. I'm not offended by it, and sometimes it's very effective if used in the right context, but as I said, kinda jarred me out of the moment. I guess it just seemed uncalled for, and unworthy of your skills as an author to resort to that as a means of conveying the sense of violation and contempt she felt. I thought that the line 'Sometimes he gets all romantic with her, whispering things in her ear and looking deep into her eyes and **,' Just made her sound like some sassy American teenager mouthing off on a daytime chat show.

Apart from that though, it was beautiful. Very insightful and sensitive POV, and like I said, lovely use of language, very flowing and sensual. I could definitely read more oneshots like this :)

I guess Ardeth sounds all cold because Cassie screams out Rick's name every night. And Sara's and Cassie's hug...you know how dreadful I am at that stuff!! *Sulks* As for Leila/Caroline...no, she's not a reincarnation, but it's a nice guess!
And as for the corpses in Memphis...hmm...I wonder what the significance is...?
