That was a good casting, I can really imagine Temari as an actress but I wish Konkuro was a master pupet crafts man.

That was absolutely beautiful, honestly, I loved it.

I like the subtle easing in that you brought with Shikamaru going to the theatre and adding in that he hadn't willingly accepted but more so out of obligation; it really showed itself in the ending of this one-shot, especially with the little bouquet of white roses.

I have to say, I don't think I'd ever believe Shikamaru to be left speechless or fumble with his words, it was a very nice way to make him seem so much different when faced with Temari Sands.

I spotted a few typos in the first few paragraphs, though they're generally minor, just thought I'd let you know.

Anyways, it was very amazingly written with all the good praise in-between.

Seriously, very nice. I would say that "it doesn't happen that fast", but then, they've only gone on two dates, right? (well, implied-second, but whatever.) It's not as if they've "FALLEN IN LOVE OVER ONE DATE AND WILL BE 2GETHER 4EVAH! SQUEEEEE!" or any of that nonsense. I really enjoy the practicality and reality of the fic—and the short length really works for it, too! This is excellent stuff here. :)

Very nice. I like the low-key feel of this. It feels more realistic than crazy meetings and all that jazz.

And, as I resident of NYC for my entire twenty years of life, I think you handled the aspects of the city that you used in your story very well. The thing I love about NYC is that it is so versatile. Everywhere you go, there is something different, with all sorts of different people. THis is probably why anime characters seem to fit into the city so well. But still, you handled it beautifully. Great work.

Like the style of writing you used in this fanfiction, especially since it didn't strike me as cliche at any point of it, though I must add, the invitation to breakfast rather struck me as unespected, especially coming from someone like Shikamaru...

It was nice to see them hit it off so well on their first meeting; nice to see Temari so cordial and Shikamaru so spontaneous; loved the witty conversation they had.

Apt integration of the title into the fic, and I rather liked the characters as they were; I found them comfortably in character, or as much as possible in this context...

Though I didn't like the thought of Shikamaru smoking, I must admit it worked with the theme ;)
