Absolutely beautiful! I love this story, even though it's a bit dark in the beginning. This fic is an instant favorite for me! Thanks so much for writing it.

It's refreshing to see /Severus/ left out on the dark side of a secret for a change! :P Hope he doesn't figure things out *too* early in the story.

Wow, a twist on the title that I was NOT expecting! I was expecting 'some things run too deep to heal' to come up somewhere - although of course, your story is actually just the opposite isn;t it?

*snickers* love Sev's reaction to getting a wedding invitation, and your intepretation of it as James being deliberately cruel lol. So different from Stephenie Meyer's ridiculous portrayal of the wedding invitation scenario in Twilight.

I like how you're not making Sev to be completely different from the way hes depicted in the books, your version still has issues and he's not always nice, and he's still keeping his involvement with the prophecy secret (though I can't blame him for that - although it will be interesting to see when that comes crashing down). But you've also managed to show him as being ultimately a good guy, even though I haven't even got to the end yet I have already noticed that..

shouldn't lily know that sirius was not the secret keeper? so why is he in azkaban?

So good!

A lot of stories about SnapeXLily always end badly or are such an AU they stray away from the original story line both of their story line and JKs but, you kept to the point, had a happy ending and showed a very good relationship between Snape and Lily.

Really enjoyed it! Thank you do writing this!

I absolutely loved this story, thank you so much for writing it! I wish it were longer though, but that'd be too much of a good thing ;).

I absolutely loved your story! From the way you characterized Snape and Lily to how they destroyed Voldemort in the end. The story was beautiful and painful at the same time and long enough to satisfy but short enough to make me want more!

Their love story is one of my favorites in general and the way you wrote it here is the best I've read thus far!

"It was enjoyable, but it didn't seem that Lily ever realized her sin in marrying Potter and that she was too quick to just Sirius back in her life. It was as if all the sins that the Marauders committed were - poof! - just forgotten by everyone other than Severus.

And since Sirius is a worthless individual to begin with, why is he even remaining friends with Lily at all? All he sees her as is James' trophy girl, and not as an individual in her own right. With James gone, Sirius should have lost interest in friendship with her - not that he was ever her friend in the first place. And if you're going to say that Azkaban made him more mature and all that, bear in mind that in canon, after far more years in Azkaban, he showed no signs of remorse for his behavior towards Severus and never apologized."

This. Though, I'm grateful Snape ended up with Lily... It just seemed so... bittersweet. Why should Snape have to deal with Sirius for the rest of his life, the man who tormented him his entire childhood and tried to kill him... Simply because, what? He was wrongly convicted? He was James' best friend? A man who also tormented Snape his entire childhood and tried to kill him?

Just... It makes the story seem very far fetched. And Snape OOC. He'd never allow his kids to be around someone like Sirius unless that person had completely changed and apologized. And since we didn't see it and the interaction was still so tense after almost 6 years I can only assume it didn't happen
