I really enjoyed this chapter. It was a fun read to see the interactions between Zelos and Kratos, especially with this being from Zelos' viewpoint.

I kind of thought that Kratos sounded like Colette when he said
"Zelos, that would be lying and it wouldn't be very nice."
It was really amusing, but it's probably just me.

Other than that, good job!

The story summary was very funny XD . 'Kratos tries to get Zelos into bed'? Genius, so misleading XD .

Man, you do such a good job with their dialogue! Their speech patterns and vocabulary fit so naturally with their canon personalities, it's flawless genius here!!

I love it when Zelos considers Kratos an old man, I just find it so funny for some reason. One thing I don't understand, if they were going to Ozette for timber, why would they be stuck in Flanoir? Is Flanoir on the way to Ozette now that the world has been splotted together?

Gods, you even made Lloyd criminally in-character here, and he was never once actually in the fic! I hate and love you at the same time, the green monster is killing me right now. Ugh, first I had to stab my eyes out over the talented artists at Otakon, now this. Oh the crimity of it all!

You've got Zelos' rather realist and somewhat bitter attitude quite down-pat, I'm really glad because I consider it a hard thing to nail but something that I really like and admire about Zelos as a character. I consider him the most down-to-earth and true-to-reality person in the game, moreso than Raine, Regal, or Kratos. But then again, it's probably because I'm biased XD . I understand the way Zelos thinks better than I do any of those other guys, heheh (though I love them too of course).

I really like Zelos' moment of unconfidence or self-doubt that you put in right here:

"He wouldn’t have been so concerned about Zelos getting along with his father if he didn’t plan on keeping the ex-chosen around for while…Right?"

It's never blatantly shown in the game, Zelos never really expresses his unconfidence or low self-esteem, but it is definitely implied, and it's nice to see in a fanfic XD . I really love Zelos' serious side, he wasn't my favorite character at all (though I still really liked him) before I saw that serious side of his. It's what makes him so human to me! So THANK YOU for doing such a good job, again, it makes me smile =D .

Mm, Kura-kun is deliciously in-character as well of course. I like the way he seems to treat Zelos more as a child or youngling than as a grown man/adult, it is so cute despite the fact that it makes Zelos totally hate him XD . :such a fangirl: And... insert tab A into slot B? OMG I giggle every time I read that XD . Yes, 'every time', as I read it more than once. I've read this thing at least three times at least XD . I also liked the term 'go over like a lead balloon', I found it particularly witty, heheh.

"Perhaps you feel weak, and that's why you're taking your anger out on me." and "Who are you really fighting? Yourself or me?" are just so condescending, however unintentional, it fits Kratos' rather admittedly 'high and mighty' (it's true, no matter how much I love him, he's an arrogant SOB XD ) personality well. And **, I'd be pretty ** too if someone had the audacity to say that to me. Who do they think they are, huh?-! Kratos needs to learn better ppl skillzors ^^; .

And yay, a physical Kratos!! Though not [i]nearly[/i] physical enough, I must say :yaoi fangirlism clouding judgment: JUMP HIM, KURA-KUN, YOU KNOW YOU WANT TO~!-!-!-!-! XD DO IT~!-!-!

Heehee, this was really good! You kept them in character nicely. I really liked the line "What did they think he was? Some understudy designated to fill the magic-swordsman void until mister high and mighty saw fit to return?"... I guess because that's sort of how I felt when I first started playing with them. I was like "this dude is trying to replace Kratos! >_
