This is a very interesting idea for a story. I think you could expand this into a very angst filled tale. I do think, however, paragraph breaks would have improved the pacing a bit.

Also, I assume this is based on the anime and not the manga. If so, why would Hotaru continue to be living with the other Outer Senshi rather than her father? I have seen this same situation in other fanfics.
