I really like the plot -- just think that we should've made the chapters longer.

Hmm. Still wishing they are not based on actual people here. Though, I guess that having weird friends (proclaimed by everyone in the group as well as other students, teachers and randomn strangers that see us walking into town. Especcially the time short dude rode piggy back style on tall dude in a steeple chase race.)


I think that developing the different personalities has set a really good base for the friendships or rivalries amoung them later, but it could have been done in one chapter (mixing the last two)

Well... do these people actually exsist? I hope to think not considering for the last three years I have been part of the weirdest group of friends I have ever known.

- There's a guy who only shows extremes of emotion, can not be insulted, knows his way around weapons - both new and old and has an impressive knife colection
- A guy that loves breaking the rules and is one of the druggies of the school, becomes a giggiling mess when drunk and has decided that as long as he is not expelled from school, he will stick around until the end of 7th form (year 13) just to P* the teachers off.
- a guy that is 15 years old and only 1.5 metres tall, a brain of the school, is in love with Nachos and loves joking about how best to take over the world. The plans include zombies and other undead creatures.
- a guy that is 2 metres tall and growing, needs to be told when he is being insulted and despite his height can not climb or play basketball
- a guy that can crack a high (at will) higher then a five year old girl, gets high on the smallest amount of sugar or when he feels like it, life. He grew his hair until it was chest length and then shaved it off for cancer week, now he wants to grow it for two years, die it black and straighten it so he can walk around with it covering his face like a sheet on a five year old on halloween. Gets so lathargi when overdosed with sugar he can barely move and enjoys painting miniture models of different warhammer characters.
- a guy who is whiter then a sheet of paper and can snow blind you when he is swimming or topless in the sun, he also loves Sudoku and is so good (and cocky) at dodgeball that he will often get out a Sudoku puzzle and try to figure out the answer while playing dodgeball! He too is a brain of the school.
- Me, a fashion consious girl who can turn almost any sentance into an essay, enjoys writting essays and reports, can render a 2 metre person with martial arts training helpless in 2 seconds or there abouts, can wrestle with all above mentioned guys without being disadvantaged AND to top it all off, can NOT feel physical pain of any kind. A piece of broken glass in my arm, stitches and having an umbrella broken around my shoulders proved that.
- there is a tom-boy type girl who at 15 is still into 'pokemon', dislikes all physical activities, loves reading, will not hesitate to read a book and has such a kind heart she often gives her lunch to the guys that hang around with us - if they ask nicely.
- a girl that has low self esteem, loves the book 'Twilight', spends more time reading fanfiction then studying and prefers to get help while doing the most mundane and simple of tasks in any class.
and a guy that wears a blue hoodie jacket as often as he can with the hood up - it is fun trying to take the hood off his head since it has become a game of chess for him, he also repeated 7th form in order to take a subject he was unable to take when he was in 7th form due to having over loaded his timetable and while he is smart when he wants to be (at physics) he can often be amused as easily as a five year old and holds to the sayings "Sanity is for the weak" and "all librarians are crazy"

Amazingly, we were all drawn together through class, being childhood friends or through the library.everyone except hodie guy and the girl with low self esteem play hakie together and we also have a strong dislike of emos (except the pokemon chick, low self esteem chick and hoodie guy), adhearing to the saying - only jokingly, I thin - "hit an Emo, 40 points. 50 point splatter bonus.

So you can see, I would be quite intrigued and also slightly dissapointed if my close group of friends were out-freaked as we call it. I still love it, but you could have aded more to the chapter.

I don't wish to be considered a critic for what I am about to write, however, there were a few things that I picked up on that have not made sense to me. The first thing that I noticed was that the princapal said "this is your princapal speaking". I am slightly uncertian as to weather I should write this, but at my school that contains over 1500 people ( a lot for a high school only in New Zealand) everyone knows the princapal by name and that is how we all address us and if he knows our names, he addresses us by name as well. Also over the phone he states both first and last name.

The other thing I picked up on was the use of "owner's Horses" It seems to be an odd phrase to use considering the horses have to have owners and most places would simply put 'stables' or 'students stables'.

Apart from the critque, I like the idea of this story so far. I think that it has a good strong foundation on which you can build and a good plot to follow. It also promises to be fairly laid back but true to the Heartland way of things by involving the same characters and trying to keep them in character even though this is a rather OC type of story. I wish you all the best for continuing it.
