And the Hyuuga/Uzumaki kid might have taken the Hyuuga name becasue Hinata is heir. In Japan, it is not always the wife taking the husband's name. I think its depends on which family is greater or on issues like heirs and inheritance. Uzumaki is likely not a very great family/clan...

It took me a little bit (and some rereading) to figure out just what was going on with that Hyuuga kid, but then again Hinata would technically being the head of the clan need to have children of the same name. It simply *wouldn't* do to have the next head of the clan not be a Hyuga XD (on top of which is the fact that Naruto himself has his mother's name... maybe he's just continuing the tradition? :P)

Well, not really. Cause I am ADDICTED TO CRACK (not literally, thankfully) and crack is the most luvliest thing that whatever God I don't believe in gave to the earth.
