| the_sunny_farmer420 2007-08-02 ch 1, anon. | abuseWow how fluffy but really sweet! I loved it :) You never see a lot of Jeff x Elli fanfics but the way you portrayed the characters...they were so realistic! It was really nice how you showed that you don't have to be super stick thin to be attractive or look good. Especially the one part that reads: “You’re curvy and pretty – stunning – instead.” He nudged her around to face him, and caught a teardrop with a finger soft and gentle at her cheek. “I’m glad I don’t have to worry about impaling myself on your razor-sharp hip bones.” The sentence about the razor-sharp hip bones was really creative. |
| Fairy Friend 2007-08-02 ch 1, | abuseAww, this is downright adorable. Nice work with this. I love how you portrayed Elli's self-consciousness and I REALLY loved how you showed Jeff as a caring sweetheart. It's actually pretty rare (at least, I think it is) to see people show Jeff in a positive light. My favorite part had to be near the end, when Jeff and Elli switched places and JEFF was the one talking about being self-conscious. :] Good job. |
| Vook 2007-08-01 ch 1, | abuseHM64 has always been my favorite in the series. Sure, the newer version may have bigger mines and more recipies and more crops and more things to do all around. But the 64 version is so adorable. Characters feel so real, there are so many precious scenes and moments, with you and the other bachelors and with other people in general. The girls kiss you, you dream of them, they're really programmed to say so many different things, they express their feelings for you and their current moods in so many different ways...they're just so alive. (In fact, once, when I had Elli at a pink heart for a really long time but never bought the feather because I was waiting for my birthday, she started saying to me, "It's really funny, Jack. Every time I make food these days, all I can think about is whether or not you'll like it.") And even today, there are times where I'd think of the sweet, caring Nurse Elli as that sweet, caring bakery shop girl instead. She and Jeff made the cutest couple, I remembered after they got married, when you talked to her she'd sometimes mention how they're thinking about a baby, and Jeff would pop in and say, "Uh, Elli..." :) I always thought you were so much in love with the Elli/Doctor combination that I never thought you'd apply your way of writing to Flowerbud Village. As always, your writing has brightened my day and put a smile on my face. But it also brought back some really nice memories of my own too. I hope you'll consider more HM64 ideas in the future. |
