| EmpireClover 2008-01-21 ch 7, | abuseThis was fantastic. I dont usually like engagement fics, but yours is defineately an exception! It was so well written and I hate to admit it but I even had a few tears at the end, and that is saying something! I'm glad you didnt abandon this fic and it is nice to see you got your 'groove' back. Thank you for writing a brilliant fic. |
| artigiano 2008-01-04 ch 7, | abuseThat was so sweet! Great job on the ending! |

| nikki.02 2007-12-22 ch 7, | abuseWow this was such a great fic! I seriously loved every tiny little detail! The puzzle and the twelve books Danny used to propose was original and mind-blowingly (is that a word?) sweet! Another positively excellent story. |
| twinkeyrocks 2007-12-21 ch 7, | abuseThat is so cute!! I am absoloutely in love with it. |
| dl-shipper34 2007-12-20 ch 7, | abuse*giggles insanely* Oh Bobo, that was just too adorable. You already know how much I love it from my comments at DLC, but it's just so cute. Full of happy fluff. Gave me the fuzzies, it did :) the proposal was really sweet and very creative. The very last sentence make me squee. Actually, the entire story did. I'm sad it's over, but it was a fantastic ride. Keep up the great work and never lose faith! Or I'll spray you with the fluffy pink fog :P Heart you Bo! *huggles and a daisy* |
| Renae319 2007-12-20 ch 1, | abuseIt's like a king-sized down filled bed covered in maple syrup! How magnificent! :) |
| Kaoli water goddess 2007-12-20 ch 7, | abuseThe sap! I adore it! That's probably the most romantic way I've ever seen a proposal done. I loved it! Great job here! I can't wait for what you put out next! |
| serenity2bliss 2007-12-20 ch 7, | abuseI can't believe this fic is done! This fic is such an amazing journey, which we were deprived off on-screen. So to read it when it is written so beautifully,is a real joy. I normally am not so keen of a engagement and married fic either, but this one is a major exception because it is so them. They're not one of tohse couple who are overly lovey-dovey and neither do they do things the conventional way.lol. So this proposal, i think, really suits the pattern of their relationship ;) |
| Yemam2422 2007-12-19 ch 7, | abuseTwo words: Wonderful and Perfect. Okay, I actually have more than two words to say but this truly was wonderful and perfect. I absolutely loved reading Danny's thoughts about Lindsay and their relationship as he sat on the bench. The twelve book idea was so clever, creative and original and I loved how you incorporated Lindsay's CSI skills into the enagagement. What a wonderful comparison between Lindsay and the enagement ring. Beautiful, really. I understand your hesitation about writing an engagement fic but you nailed it. And I didn't find it to be sappy at all. Yes, they were getting engaged and declaring their love for each other but I love how you incorporated their nerves and uncertainties - the way you wrote it made it real and honest. Again, wonderful and perfect. |
| lolosuper 2007-12-19 ch 7, | abuseLove your story! Very good job! |

| Mystik225 2007-12-19 ch 7, | abuseFor not wanting to do an engagement fic I must say you did a phenomenal job with it. You captured the characters perfectly, along with the anxiousness that accompanies a proposal. This chapter was sappy, but the good kind of real life sappy, not the sugar coated idealized dream world sappy. This line is awesome: "It wasn’t all perfect, of course. Some of her habits grated on his nerves, and he knew there were probably nights she considered strangling him in his sleep. Learning to balance the good and the bad was something they had grown better at. For every incident of frustration or annoyance, there were ten more of bliss – remembering that was important." "He was done. Done searching, done guessing, done waiting. But no, this was no ending. This was the beginning of his forever, and it looked promising with her by his side. Granted, he knew it wouldn’t be without struggles, but they would be able to overcome them. For no matter what obstacles they encountered, they were sure to be always committed, always understanding, always together." That is my favorite paragraph. It, along with the other section I quoted, perfectly captures the essence of what marriage and building a life with another is all about. Patience, tolerance, trust and above all, love. |
