This is a delightful whirlwind of Regency in-jokes. I can't see why there's been so few reviews for it...

only you would put jambalaya in a story. i liked your description of the lady catherine at the beginning. i don't remember her being described lots in the book, and your description pretty much perfectly fit the one i had in my head. i liked all the references you put in there too. i think i got most of them this time. :) i couldn't really find anything i disliked in this one.

Nicely written! I have to disagree with the notion of Darcy's are not impetuous. I think it was pretty impulsive for for Georgieona to agree to initially elopement. At any rate, I'd be lying if I didn't say that I am impatiently looking forward to next chapter!!

This story is close to my idea of fan fiction heaven!! I have been a long-standing fan of the O'Brien novels, Pride and Prejudice,and Pirates of the Caribbean worlds. I confess I have often imagined the characters coming in contact with each other in my head. I thought, however, that the combination would never make sense to anyone else. I cannot compliment you enough for your creation of a possible and much more amusing tale than what I had previously imagined. Also it has been my experience that when I come across writers who share my fantasies involving these characters, they often choose not to emulate the story's writing style, and therefore, their stories fall short. You, on the other hand, have been able to capture the writing style amazingly well, especially considering that you do not have Pride and Prejudice in your dorm room. Well done!! Thank you for writing my paradise and please continue creating it! You have one more avid reader!

i liked the part in the beginning about how they were "like soldiers staring down the barrel of a gun- and teh twins had felt like they were facing an entire artillery battery". it seemed like it described what i feel when i have to go talk up in front of people, although it is an entirely different situation. i

i'm actually going to try to do a real constructive review this time instead of just telling you i loved it. (which i did). i really liked the part where you compared getting presented to the kind to a county fair. it was really original, and plus you know how i like fairs :) some of the references were a little confusing, as least for me, because i haven't read the entire library, but over all, i loved it. and crossing lava might be a little extreme, but i will definitely pester you to finish this one :)
