Gunther is so friggin adorable in this fic! And Rake and Pepper and everyone are all IC and awesome. Everytime you write I fall more in love with Gunther (which I still haven't forgiven you for), even though, or maybe because, you don't make him perfect.

awesome. i really like this one-shot. it's cute.
don't be so modest, you write well. and i didn't spot one spelling or grammar mistake, which is nice since i usually can spot at least a few in most fics. But this one is great.
and i love the name Baby Carrot! oh ! i know, it's becasue both Rake and Pepper like vegetables and becasue she has red hair? or is a Ginger (sorry to quote the crudness of South Park), but, you know, has pale skin and freckles? i know people like that. and little kids with red hair, pale skin and freckles are so adorable!! and its the only reason i can think of why Rake and Pepper would have a red-headed kid, seeing as they both have brown hair and Brown is the dominant gene.

Well, m'dear, you're far to hard on yourself in your closing comments -- this was one of the most enjoyable reads I've had in a long time. Your take on mature versions of the cast was spot on, especially Gunther. And, what an original plot for a short story in this genre, and so well written! Lovely descriptions -- I could visualise everything.

I loved the name, 'Baby Carrot'. Perfect! Laughed aloud as I read that. And, it was followed by many more chuckles as I read Gunther's introspections and comments. You deserve a cookie. :) Heck, have a whole plate of them.
