Just a little observation though. You said that Yukimura died after his surgery, which means that he died when he was still in third year of junior high, right? If that is so, then his sister would probably be around elementary or second year of junior high, at the most. How come I'm getting the feeling that she's older? And would anyone really wear that kind of clothing during winter? She should have worn a coat or something? Then again, maybe it's just me. (o_0)

You have a few awkward sentences, but you did quite well with setting the mood. Though I think you could've emphasized sibling love more, because no matter which way I look at it, I see incest. 0_0
