Poor edmund. i must be hard to go back to england after narnia. and edmund was a bully as well and now he is a fiar and just king.

that was brilliant - i really love the way you're portraying what ed's feeling. i can really feel just how much he misses narnia; especially the scene at the river. i nearly cried when it said about the animals that he half expected to come out and say 'wow, were we really that quiet?'

i'm really curious about the references to peter - obviously people have noticed he's stopped being beastly to everyone, but i'm just as stumped as ed as to where peter fits into the equation.

i'd write more, but apparently i have to go now. Soz - i'll make up for it next chapter - i promise. :)

I loved it! the nameless ** girl reminds me of Luna Lovegood, but in a more c s Lewis-ish type way. great work again - i hadnt even thought of the fact that school would be pretty much a laughable matter for them!

and i like that the four of them go to the same school. i know thats not how it is in the books, but i like it - it makes the interaction between them much easier - none of this snail mail business.

Brilliant job - i'm so looking forward to watching this develop!

Aw, that was quite sad. Definately one of the best 'attempting to adjust to england again' versions though. I hope the rest of the story is as good as chapter one. :)

i agree with you - i think them getting used to not having their weapons constantly would be one of the hardest things.

Bella reminds me a great deal of Luna Lovegood. Is she based on her? I quite like her either way I must say. Excellent characterization with Edmund, though I think Peter's a bit to quick to forget being high king. Not seen the girls yet so no comments on them, though Susan is as expected via Peter and Edmunds chat. I should like to see how Lucy is doing. Ta!

This is one of the Best Adjustment fics I have read and we have only just begun. I still can't imaging the the shock it would be for them. Culture shock would be nothing compared to what the four have to go through. And you are one of the few to bring up the point that, mentally they are all adults. There is no way in the world they could just go back and act normal...ever.
