Ahh, a very good stopping point for this chapter. You've certainly done an excellent job of the romance between these two so far! It's excruciating in a wonderful way to watch their stilted progression towards each other.

Well this was a heart warming chapter in parts. And it almost got to warming other parts. The one great almost unredemeable problem with this story is the time between updates! If it was not for that this chapter would have been great. Now it is just exceptible. More please and sooner.

I can totally see myself being just as awkward as Kellen around Talia, trying to do the right thing and help her through a second childhood, basically.

Personally I think that as written Kellen is just as endearing if not more so than Talia in his determination to do the right thing. I do hope that in the end Talia does get her man and he his woman because by then they'll deserve the happyness they can get. I'm looking forward to seeing how you have this new family relate to one another. Talia accepts things so quickly it shouldnt take long for them to accept her either. As for Dak at least he's not really pushing Kellen, just giving him a litle nudge.
