I loved reading this, and you have a way with words that Ms. Austen herself would be proud of. If you must know, I just read "the Little Mermaid", this story, and the beginning of Blythe all in a four-hour sitting! Loving it very much, so far. You're a wonderful writer, keep up the great work!

This was a very entertaining fic. :) I loved getting Georgiana's take on things. Her advice to Darcy about how he should treat everyone with the same courtesy he would want was really good. (Yes, Darcy, EVERYONE. lol XD)

And I was glad to get even a snippet of Mr.Bennet in here by the end. He is my absolute favorite character in the story. Loved the way you described how he and Georgiana took to one another.

Is the marriage of Georgiana and Colonel Fitzwilliam canon? I can't seem to remember... lol If not, I think it was a good choice on your part.

Good story. I think I am off to read your different POV disney stories now. :D Keep up the good writing.

ps: Oh and you have my sincere applause for being able to copy Jane Austen's style as well as you have. Writing in Victorian English (*is* it even Victorian?) seems like it would be a difficult thing to do, but you pulled it off with aplomb. :)

I was browsing through the Jane Austen stories to see if anyone had written a story about Henry Tilney's sister Elenor from Northhanger Abby. I have a story idea and I wanted to see if it had been attempted by anyone else. But I noticed yours and was thoroughly distracted and have now spent my evening being entertained rather than beginning what i know will be a very frustrating and slow task (on account of the many little responcibilities I have to train and care for!) (ie 7 home schooled children). My eldest daughter has been writing Lord of the Rings fanfiction, and although we both enjoy much of what I read there, I was getting sick of Mary-sues!

Oh, I must say I really enjoyed this story. It followed a bit TOO closely to the book, perhaps, but it was still lovely all the same. I liked seeing Georgiana in a new context, away from the somewhat overpowering presence of her brother. Your writing is Austen-esque enough to keep to the spirit of the story, but at the same time the passages involving events not described in the book had a definitely different flavor.

The end nears! I can't wait to see what happens. I'd love to see a conversation between Georgiana and Elizabeth - perhaps about teasing Darcy. Heh. But ahh well. I'm looking forward to the next chapter!

Oh, what a lovely idea! While perhaps not as lively as Elizabeth, Georgiana is still a wonderful character. I've never read the story from her point of view before. It's already intriguing and I'm anxious to see what happens next.

This chapter was very nice. Well written, entertaining - and a good look at Georgiana's character. It's great to read what happened to her through her eyes.
