Reviews for The Boy who Vanished
Airlady 5/5/08 . chapter 5
So many pieces of this chapter to really think about. Nice to see the various viewpoints.

Wow I like this wider view into the world Harry is stepping into. Barty and Bella are so different now that theyve had ten years with Voldie's lies and broken promises and not in captivity where all they wouldve had was the promise of his return. I loved Lily and Remus' story very sweet. Without Harry to scare them out of it Vernon and Tunie have a second child who is natch a greeneyed witch. Pansy will be endangered for her choice of friends, but in ch.1 it didnt seem like she was really given much of a choice.

I really like this story! I like even better the idea that some DE's are willing to help Harry get rid of Voldemort.

Nice to see how this is going, and Pansy in Ravenclaw and decent is actually turning out nicely, as well as how Harry continues to get along well with her and Hermione, and will be curious to see what the deal is with Ron.

plz get a beta this story is interesting and well thought out so far, but the grammer and spelling issues really make this story hard to read. It reads like broken english most of the time or in some cases just confusing. If you just fix the grammer and spelling i'd say you've got a good story in your hands.

Excellent work! Loved the stuff about Bella and Barty; I can really see the two of them together and this peek at their dark relationship is enticing and even dare I say it (it is crucio-happy!Bella after all) heartbreaking, what with the infertility issues. On a different note looking forward to Hermione's reasons for basically entering a wartorn society.

good fic.

This was a nice twist. Not only do you have the life of Harry changing but also the lives of the Death eaters. We never see this side of the coin. You are giving a face and emotions to those we have all grown to despise. This could be quite a challenge.

Thanks for the update.
Fibinaci 1/2/08 . chapter 4
So much to like in this ch. Bella seems real to me, a woman who was happy to do what she did but now realizes(unconsiously) that her leader has used her for his own ends. She can do the math and sees what is to come for the purebloods. Her infertility(most likely cruciatis exposure) makes the global problem personal. I also like Harry and the two girls interactions and your theories of how the wizarding world works. The math never added up for me unless Hogwarts isnt taking in alot of the available magical children.

Good expose on the sexism in the British wizarding world. Belletrix and Barty are an interesting pairing.

Nice story, I rather like it. But your position about females in the wizard world. I do find that rather hard to believe. You say there is the single exception to it, but wouldn't it be more the opposite around? We have only two examples of witches staying at home and that is Narcissa Malfoy and Molly Weasley. Narcissa because of money, Lucius doesn't work either and Molly because of her children. On the other hand we have Mcgonnal, Sprout, Bones, Umbridge, Tonks, the library lady, a few of the former headmasters were female according to the portrets...

We have more females that work, than those that don't.

i liked it

great chapter I was wondering about that Law could you explain it further and when Harry said that Lily didn't follow Dumbledore's plan did Albus know what was going to happen. Also what happened to Neville because Voldermort just talks about one child not two?
