kyaa! that was so beautifully romantic and hopelessly sad at the same time. well written, well written. i, too, sorta screamed at the computer when chiaki "missed." so the idea of him possibly kissing her and then simply going back in time to correct it makes me feel a thousand times better. thank you so much for the wonderful story.

I REALLY thought they were going to kiss too! =)) Great fic! And I sorta figured it out since I became so addicted to the movie I did major research. Chiaki isn't allowed to tell anyone in the PAST about the time leaping thing but remember he told her about it when he stopped time. That's why he was going to disappear. But Makoto went back in time, to before he ever told her anything. And actually, if you master the time leaping thing, you will be able to jump to the future as well. That's why Chiaki could go back to his time if only he had some charge left. :P :D

This was a really good fic. I always thought that either Chiaki went back to his time and got another charge-up with the promise to use it and come back straight away or that he hid so he could try to find out why she was mad at him but this is another option if you discount the fact that he only had one leap left. Oh, by the way, Makoto didn't say anything when he turned her around, just so you know. Belinda
