I really can see this happening, though I'm mightily glad it didn't. Extremely effective writing, great characterisation, and it made me cry!

This was a tragic and beautiful story. In my opinion who could not help but love Hoshi? Unless ur one of Archer's enemies I guess.

Hey, cool story. I like the exploration of the reversal of the deaths and how people would react. And it is interesting that you you mention Hayes's imitation of Malcolm's accent. That happens sometimes when people listen a lot to an accent, they suddenly speak in it without knowing they are doing it! I guess that is part of the way we learn to speak, our minds just absorb an accent and then try it out.

Very nice! Hoshi and Hayes have something together. Too bad it was never explored. Thanks for writing this.

Aw, that was so angsty and sweet! Yep, sadness for the lost love and friendship that would not be...I'm so glad Malcolm didn't get killed in that episode, although Hayes dying was pretty sad as well.

It's always interesting to explore what might have been. Of course, we wouldn't have wanted to kill off Malcolm at the end of season three, but I think you're right when you speculate about the impact his death would have had on certain members of the crew. Good job!
