I absolutely loved this story. My friend and I RP with L being a creepy rapist all the time, but I haven't been able to find a good fanfic on it...until now. It was very well written and kept me interested the whole way through.

Ah, I must admit, I skim-read this the first time, and was not too impressed. Then, at the end, the whole 'OMFG!1!!1 L U RAPIST!!1!' rush came, and I had to, /had to/ re-read it properly.

While I think that this situation is highly improabable, I believe you pulled it off well. So many people tend to forget that, while Wammy's kids are prodigous bastards, they /are/ still children, still able to be scared, still feel pain, still wish for their mother, or lack thereof.

(Btw, once I read it properly, I loved the ending. Loved it long time. It's so easy to imagine Matt sprinting down the hall, screaming bloody murder. And face it, kids : Adult who loves candy and has childish tendencies = top canidate for pedo. Bah, I'm babbling.)

Have to say, though, I personally believe making a second chapter just for the A/N was a ** move.

Ah, your story evoked such a depressing feeling (that's good by the way). Your style is excellent, and I agree with your author note. Flames suck, and do nobody good. Either way, I would greatly appreciate an update, or at least something to notify if the story's on hiatus or if it's discontinued. I hope not. Alright, sorry if I wasn't of any use. I just couldn't read without at least saying something to the author.

this story is amazing. it's very upsetting, and i hate l being so ooc, but i love rape fics (i'm demented, i know), so it's okay. sometimes we have to twist the ones we love to get what we want. such as this. though... i really don't WANT near, and now mello, to be completely traumatized for the rest of their lives... *sigh* great. now i'm gonna get emo over it. anyway, great job. i think you wrote this very well and i thank you for posting it.~

I absoulutly love this story. your writing style is amazing and You really should write more stories like this. I honestly don't think there was anything wrong with this story and anyone who thinks otherwise is a piece of crap. Keep writing!

I liked your story and how it was written. There may have been some factors I didn't like, but they are only opinions that I personally believe in and this is your story so I won't burden them on you.

While I was impressed with this story and *especially* how it ended, quite genius to leave a mysterious cliff hanger type ending, I was not at all impressed with your second chapter. I was looking forward to seeing what would happen to Mello, and here all I got was you immaturely cursing your reviewers.

After reading the reviews, or most of them, I can say that I don't agree with your so called flamers, especially the immature idiot you said they would hunt you down and your existence or something to that nature, you need to realize that there are some people in the world who are going to hate you no matter what you write, what you do, or what you say, so it's better to live life the way you want to and just turn a deaf ear upon those who can't give respect to another being's wishes.

Also on that note, people who flat out said they did not like the story just because there was rape in it, I'm confused. The summary said "Rape" so why in the world would you read something that you know you will not like? It makes no sense to do something of that sort, but then again I am not God, and I do not have the right to judge anyone or anything. However, my opinion stands and my advice to you all is to read something you know you will enjoy instead of wasting your time and the author's time with your trashy behavior.

For some unknown reason, my fanfiction account isn't allowing me to log on. Ho hum, I supposed I'll have to do this review anonymously.

Personally, I think this fanfiction is very well written and the twist at the end was great. I remember reading the first section like, "Who is raping Near-kun!?" and then at the end when Mello was walking off I was like, "...no...no! NO NO NO NO NO! NOT FAIR! NO!" Then, my suspicions were correct when Matt was running towards Mello. I scared my mom because I was sitting here screaming, "RUN! RUN, MELLO, RUN! RUN FOR YOUR LIFE! RUN AS FAST AS YOUR LEGS CAN TAKE YOU! AH! MELLO!"

The fic is obviously a darker piece, but I thought it was very well written. Good job. I was a bit confused at the people who complained. Honestly, rape is a dark thing that happens everyday. It happens. We can shield our eyes and try to distract ourselves as much as we want, but rape is something that happens to people in their everyday lives. So those people who go, "WTF!?!? WHY IS L A RAPIST!?!?!?!1!!?!11!oneoneone!?" and "U $UCK U N00B! ST0P WRITING!!oneone!!11!oneone!" are obviously people who haven't come to this realization yet.

Honestly, people, this is one of those, "Then why the f*(k did you click it?" moments. It clearly says "RAPE" in the summary. If you don't like rape and hate to read it, then why the bloody he11 did you click on the fanfiction in the first place? And then you want to flame the piece of work that you knew you weren't going to agree with in the first place? Really, now, who shoved a lightpost up your a$$? Do you have nothing better to do than to sit around giving negative comments about a story you knew you weren't going to like from the beginning? If you're that bored, then go and play a sudoku or something. I'm also fully aware that by posting a fanfiction, the person is allowing readers to read and review their work, but next time you're going to take valuable time out of your day and the author's, my lovely reviewers, remember this: Just because you CAN post something doesn't mean you SHOULD.

Not trying to mean or insensitive to the reviewers by any means. I'm simply giving my opinion on the matter.

This is a really unique little fic - I don't think anyone has done this before, at least not in an LxNear/Mello combination.
