This is a great story *favs* but there is one 'tiny' mistake. Giovanni is NOT ash's father and this comes from deliah herself from pokemon live. She did date him but stopped when she met ash's real father. The fact is in bulbagarden but I just wanted to let you know that.

That was actually a pretty epic way to end the chapter. I like.

Oh man, they are such entertaining fools ... I love how you described Team Rocket in this whole chapter; all the elaborate measures they go through to get on the boat, how silly they must look dripping all over the place, and the fact that they had a submarine the whole time! Classic Team Rocket.

And the fanfic itself is one of the best pokefics I've ever found so far. It's descriptive, accurate on all accounts (as far as I know), and pretty darn well-written. It's also intriguing, especially in that you keep mentioning your interest in action scenes. I also love action, and am therefore excited.

The only thing I would have done to make it better (at least, better in my own mind) would be to give Brock a more elaborate history with Ivy. She would have blocked his escape, approached him with a knife she plucked out of a carcass, and done whatever she felt like doing while her lab assistants stood in the doorway. He could describe this without going into detail by saying something like, "They just watched while she ... it was so humiliating and I was so scared! ... I just couldn't go to the police after that!" Dark and a little far-fetched, and it may not fit with what you had planned to begin with, but in my crazy mind it would be a better explanation for his over-the-top reaction to Ivy's name.

Anyway, good fic, can't wait to read the rest.

I loved this! It made my day to read this. And, just outta curiosity, am I crazy, or were there actually Ash/Misty undertones?
