Love it! You have absolutely nailed Jed Bartlet's charm. Fantastic story with a super interesting prompt.

Terrific vignette! Sweet start with the grandbaby on Jed's chest and then the dialog from there was fantastic. Too many favorite lines to mention them all.

"There are two biographies about her, three about Jed, one about Zoey (published after the kidnapping) and one about them as a family. One would think the public has had enough of them by now, especially since Jed left office a decade ago." - IMO, Abbey's thinking about the public is a bit disingenious here, considering her husband is IMO totally tasty (even though I do not normally like older guys in that way), as is she (and the fact that both of them are very intelligent too, adds to that, IMO). And the public ALWAYS want to read or know more about such good-looking people.
SUCH a cute chapter!
