xxFrostleafxx 2008-04-06 ch 1,	abuseWhen I saw the title I thought you were referring to Mello and Near, and that they might have some sort of equality between them. But the plot you've written about here in this story is just as good, if not better. =3 Though before I get started rambling about plots I should ramble about how thoughtful this drabble is. It's nice to see more stories featuring Ide and Aizawa more, you seem to be really into those characters recently. ^_^ Or at maybe it's just because I've been thinking about them more that makes me think that. XP And the story is not only very introspective but also shows Near actually thinking more emotionally rather than straight-forward. A rare moment that should be valued by all. I really do appreciate seeing this side of Near as well by the looks of things. I'm treasuring the moment. ^_^ It's teh stuff memories are made of for me. Also I like how you put Ide into here. Maybe I've been saying that a lot recently but among many other things I've noticed an improvement in the way people have been writing Ide. Which rocks because you wrote him very well to begin with. On a side note I have to say I find it sad how so many people from Death Note died that I liked. XP

The last line rings true, for sure, and I enjoyed your characterization of Near--although God knows I'm not very fond of him either. I was very sorry to see he was the last surviving genius of DN. Grr. Ide seemed right to me, too. --although I also dislike Ide. XD Kudos to you for making me enjoy reading a story featuring two characters I don't like! That's talent!
