wonderfully written...why did Toby have to die?

No fair! You made me cry. I am totally voting for a sequel- one where they discover a loophole that makes it so that they can bring Toby back, but he has to stay in the Underground. I think I'd prefer it if they have to go through something dangerous in order to save him and if it's really bringing him back instead of just reversing time. That way they can bring him to visit (not stay with because from now on he'll have to live Underground) his parents and we'd be able to read their reactions to both his coming back and their daughter's engagement/marriage to Jareth. And maybe you could put somewhere near the end that his "girlfriend" is able to visit and make that part all cutesy. 'Cause otherwise, as beautiful as their love is, it's all just too painful.

If this had been any more angsty, I would have been forced to stop reading it. It was painful enough, though it was also beautiful.

You wrote those poems? They were beautiful and so artfully poignant for these chapters. I still wish you would find a way to finish everything. I like how soft they are with each other.

I really liked this chapter just as I really liked Enid. So much more than I had even hoped for. I liked how Sarah instinctively backed him up when she found out others weren't so nice to him (though with her little immature pouty outburst I guess I was a little too fast with the comment on her maturity- I still love her to bits though :). I hope it all works out well.

Great chapter. As much fun as banter can be, I'm enjoying her being mature enough to be nice to him, and he's always seemed more than likely to be kind to her (especially if she's being nice to him in the first place). I hope Enid is nice and comes (and then becomes entranced by little Toby).

Ooh! I loved it- although what happened has actually made me physically sick. But I enjoy the rest of it- especially the mythology part :)

It was a sad and sweet story. I thank you for this. :) It was really good and give a good intropsection on death and grief. You have a beautiful writing style.
