I've been reading Supernatural FF since, well pretty much since the series began here in the UK, and I thought I'd read all the 'better' stories...you know, the ones you can't stop reading no matter how much real life is trying to get your attention but your story changed that! I loved it, I loved the way you portrayed Sam & Dean and I think you got their characteristics spot on. I don't know if you're intending to, but I'd really like to see how the story pans out with regards to Sam's relationship with John, no pressure or anything ;) Anyway, you're officially on my 'favourite authors' list and I'd love to read more!

Poor kid. This is gonna take some time for all of them to come to terms with.

Well, I just read the whole story, and considering the time between postings, it flowed seamlessly. A truely excellent job. I loved the long chapters and I thought the Sam and Dean voices were spot on.

You've obviously got a gift for writing so I hope you'll continue to wow us all with many more stories this year.

I think I may have started reading this when you first posted, but was obviously too slack at the time to leave a review.

Just wanted to say that this chapter is brilliantly written and a great lead in to what I'm sure is an excellent story to follow. I can't wait to read the rest and I'm excited at being able to now read the whole thing in one go - thank god I have time today. I'll leave a review again at the end. Thanks for writing.

Awesome story. Very beautifully done. I could see these events only increasing Sam's own fears, and self doubts that he's responsible for all wrong in his world.
Loved the brotherly moments at the end.
Loved this description-"Dean was there, holding him, keeping him steady above the surface as he sifted fingers through his hair and whispered promises into his ear."
Definitely be checking out more of your stories.

Loved Dean's fears as he came to the door of what he would find.
Loved that Sam didn't automatically trust Dean. Cos why would he when he just had a John look alike attack him not too long before.
Loved this description-"Sam lay motionless, sprawled awkwardly on the tiled floor, long dark locks drifting lazily over his eyes, failing to obscure the amount of blood leaking from his temple.
and this-"Sam’s lips curved into a small, sad smile as he fought the desire to lean into the familiar touch and held his ground."

Dang, that was just a bit heartbreaking at the beginning. Poor Sam. I loved that he realised that his dad would never blame him for Dean's death. Even though they don't get along alot of the times that John wouldn't do that.
You have some really great descriptions in this chapter.
Loved this-"The wooden structure lurched, doors groaning and wood splintering as the mattress sank and the bedspread began slinking toward the floor."
and this was kind of terrifying-"He screamed, unable to contain his fear as a sturdy kick brought the door crashing inwards and a man slouching past."

I really liked this chapter. Poor Sam. How awful to sit alone with just your thoughts not knowing if everyone is safe and well.knowing what kind of danger they can be in. Did a great job on that part and I love the repeated glances at the clock.
I loved all the stuff going through Dean's head as he tried to figure out how the shifter knew so much about them and then his almost panic when he realised the shifter knew about Sam.

I really liked Dean thoughts as he was driving away from the hotel, especially this-"Then again maybe it was the way he always looked up, a touch of fear in his sleep deprived eyes as he tried to steal a once over for injuries when he thought neither Dean nor Dad were looking every time they returned from a hunt."
and this-"But he couldn’t get the image of Sam with his own broken bones riding shotgun, just waiting to make it back to the next motel to get stitched up and pass out."

i like this story - i hope that you can finish it. :) i would love to see the aftermath of this hunt-gone-wrong.
