This is amazing but I think you should do something from Harry's pov, balance it out a bit. Just a suggestion.

For reasons unknown, my first thought was 'delicious.' Perhaps it was the tranquility of the scene. You could feel the passage of time, understated though it is, through Malfoy's tired monologue of a quiet passion- a passion that served no reprieve to its victims in their lives full of expectant faces.

Perhaps 'Fine China' simply felt refreshing after the more flamboyant shows of misery and incontent you are apt to meet once you start surfing the HP fandom. These boys -of course, fully grown- certainly had adapted to what life threw at them without much aplomb, eh? Never thought that drama-loving readers (read myself) could find more drama in less, if that makes any sense to you.
