Different from some of the others. Especially because she actually had been with Ron and loved him at some point. But it's really beautiful, the way you make everything flow... so naturally...^^
And I like the ending. Excellent idea to send them to Salem! :D

I find myself rather sad that I've just finished reading your story - it was so good I couldn't stop reading but now that I've finished I wish I had more of it to read :) That was one of the most in-character portrayals of Snape I've read on here, simply loved the dynamics between him and Hermione and I suppose having Harry still dislike Severus is a bit more psychologically correct than his quick change of heart in the novel. All in all, a wonderfully-written, intelligent story which captures the magic of the books completely. It might have been a sequel for the smooth, unputdownable way it read all through and the very convincing characters. I'll make sure I check your other stories, although Snape and Sinistra? Not quite sure about that pairing - we shall see :)

I also really thought you did a brilliant job with Hermione's POV, wading through Ron's death and the uncertainty of Severus's feelings. To truly have NO idea what was going through his head, and to only interpret through his actions--you walked that fine line brilliantly!

Loved the mixture of magic and muggle techniques.

Ron's demise was an interesting choice - the fact of it and the way you decided to accomplish it.

There is a part of me that understands the Weasleys and Harry's issue with a six month widow entering into a new relationship - and then shacking up at 8 months! - the rest of thinks Ron and Hermione would never have lasted.

This was a good story! I really liked how you got the two of them together and how you dealt with the idea of someone finding love twice. I like your writing style (good grammar and spelling!) and your dialogue was superb.

I love 'your Severus'

this is my favourite chapter so far, but there are two parts in the chapter and these are:
When snape offered to help hermione with her investigation.
And when hermione and snape are on there way to the first victims house and hermione nearly falls and snape helps her stady by grabbing her hand.

sorry to nit pick, and i really dont think it matters, but I just recently reread the 7th book, and I have to tell you that Hermione never made it down to the dungeons. Ron and Harry escaped and came upstairs because they couldn't stand to hear her in so much pain. I dont want to insult you, and I certainly dont expect you to change your story, but its like that itch in the small of your back- you can't ignore it. I have to say, though, that I really do love your story. you make the characters feel completely as though they are themselves, and not a changed extension of yourself, or what you think JK wanted... The tale rings of true talent for writing. You can be sure I will read your other works.

I wish they hadn't moved to America (I *want* Harry to be in her life as her best friend with or without Severus) but you can always apparate right?
This was a fnatastic story. I wish there was a sequeal but really you've ended everything quite neatly.
I would just like to say that as far as Miles goes I saw it coming! :D

Nice. Very nice. I'm glad that Ginny and Harry at least were able to accept Hermione moving on. It's sad she and Severus had to leave England to get some peace, but I think it'll be much nicer for them to get away from all the prejudice and resentment.
