EternalConfusion 2007-10-31 . chapter 35Aw, great ending. I really loved the kids in the pumpkin patch (is that right). I'm glad they got their happy ending in this fic :) |
EternalConfusion 2007-10-26 . chapter 34Great chapter - I think I giggled at the word 'screwy' it's just the best adjective. Love the name too, of the baby, not the chapter...although the name of the chapter is alright, but that's not what I was talking about... :) |
Belle Vita 2007-10-18 . chapter 35I enjoyed this story a lot, sorry I haven't been reviewing throughout. Better late than never, I suppose!
Both Jack and Kate had a great depth to them, and while you made them their own, they still had character traits as on the show. The children really added a lot to the story, and definitely made it your own.
Hope you'll continue writing, I look forward to whatever else you post. |
light-stick 2007-10-18 . chapter 35I'm so sad to see this end. It has been a wonderful journey.

gillybean970 2007-10-18 . chapter 35AH! You made me cry :) thank you or such a lovely story, I'll keep coming back and reading it from the start |
Athena Alexandria 2007-10-17 . chapter 35Great last chapter -- that was the best way you could have ended it, with Kate, Jack and their kids. I liked that you mentioned the day she walked out of her wedding with Sawyer, and I loved the last line -- it tied in well with the title and the overall theme of the story. And of course the whole idea of Jate! ;) |
Athena Alexandria 2007-10-12 . chapter 34That was so sweet! I agree, the last line was beautiful and eloquent -- the whole last paragraph, in fact! Can't wait for the next chapter -- hopefully it will be all about them bonding with the baby. It'd be great if you could have Lily and Jacob together somehow!;) |
NYR88 2007-10-12 . chapter 34Aww, how sweet. I loved the last line. Can't wait to read more. |
NYR88 2007-10-09 . chapter 33Yea, the jaby is coming!! Finally. Poor Kate - loved the line about her being afraid to move in case the baby fell out. Ha ha
Can't wait for more |
Athena Alexandria 2007-10-09 . chapter 33Yay, baby next chapter! You have to update soon! ;)
I wonder is there some reason you chose Tennassee, since it's also where Sawyer comes from, or was that just a coincedence?
I like the fun little ordinary life details you put into your stories like the Bob Marley and cooking and the comical moments like Kate freaking out about going into labour -- it makes a nice change from some of the heavier Jate stories. Yours (I loved Always and Forever, by the way, it had everything -- deaths, births, weddings, crazy road trips, Kate going into labour in a department store! Great stuff!) feel like good, light, chick lit novels, which are always a pleasure to read. ;) |
gillybean970 2007-10-08 . chapter 33“Kate?” Jack asked walking out of their bedroom sleepily.
Ah I can just picture it. This is so wonderful, I'm relieved that you didn't put any sort of problems about the Sawyer lunch, can't wait for the birth! |
Shavanda 2007-10-05 . chapter 32Thank you for the chapter.
I liked how Sawyer realised and accepted in the end that Jack was Kate's soulmate, and not him. The subtle hints that Sawyer isn't a 'family guy', as he didn't pay much attention or cared much for back Jacob was evident in this chapter. Sawyer thought Kate has changed, but in fact, that's the real Kate. I'm glad you've written Kate to be so happy and settled with a family, as that's all she ever wanted I believe. |
light-stick 2007-10-05 . chapter 32I liked that you brought Sawyer back, the last time it was kinda quick as they left each other.
Ida:-) |
gillybean970 2007-10-04 . chapter 32This was nice, to have Sawyer and Kate on that table and get Kate to have closure on the whole issue. But I hope Jack won't be making a big deal out of this. |
Athena Alexandria 2007-10-04 . chapter 32Yay, I've been waiting for this to happen! I wonder is it really the end, though? Can Sawyer really walk away?
Great chapter! I liked the way you decribed Sawyer's sadness at the realisation that he only even held her back, and that as soon as she left him, she became everything she ever wanted to be. I felt so sorry for him -- I think that's what's going to happen with the real Sawyer on the show (eventually)! He's going to realise (I think he knows but doesn't want to accept) that he doesn't make her happy, and I don't think he ever could -- they're both too damaged and unstable.
I also liked his reaction to Jacob, thinking Kate cheated on him. (How come he never contemplated the possibily of Jacob being his son?) I'm not sure if that was supposed to be funny, but it was!;) |
