JBubbles 12/26/11 . chapter 1
Coincidently, I am just listening to old jazz music right now. And I find strange and so interesting that old way to talk, it's very easily identified. And I liked how you took the time and careful research to explain the prejudice common in that place and time.

Great fic.

I really enjoyed this story. I like Heero and Quatre fics. I liked the frankness and the ooc-ness. Everything! Yay!

Waal, tarnation, Miz Caer, if that wasn't one of the danged best things I've read with those two purticlar young rascals in the middle of it! Honest Injun, I'd swear it was one of the best things you've written, 'cept I cain't read the fics at your purty site, 'cause the gol-durned links don't work! _

And they are NOT OOC in this...I swear Quatre's got this side to him that would be *extremely* devilish if he didn't always put the well-being of others ahead of everything else. My view is that if you can comfortably picture the character acting the way portrays, it's not out of character. The descriptions are lovely and full of emotion without being sappy or cliched...This deserves so many more than two reviews - I hope this'll compensate a little. I'd say you done Mr. Clemens right smart proud. -

Yay! Someone else who likes GW and Mark Twain! Great fic! I love this one, it's just so cool, like with how they're both obviously take-offs on Twain's charas, but they're still themselves, and both kinda uncertain and such. And great job on the dialect, too. It felt like they would really talk that way.
