The people in xHolic live in Tokyo. Yuuko tells Watanuki that they should go shop in the Ginza in the episode where that woman wants to quit the Internet so she could spend more time with her family, remember? And the Ginza is in Tokyo, so they most definitely live there.

I would say something more constructive, but I am too busy trying to keep myself from squealing. Your characterization of Kyou was absolutely brilliant! So sweet, so gentle. So canon. Tohru too, and she seems to be one of the harder characters in the series to write well.
