It's the story about one of the famous ( or should I say infamous? ) Chinese emperor and his male lover right? The emperor didn't want to disture his sleeping lover so he cut the sleeves of his coat. Haha... I haven't thought of it when I am reading it until you said it is a historical story. Anyway, good fic.
