i can feel the funeral in it. kind of like lamentations or maybe memoirs. at one point you reminded me of stacy from eisley or marisha pesl. beautiful work, definitely.

i really loved this. i think what i liked most was that it made so much sense; and all the almost clockwork, jerky phrases to describe Axel were brilliant (particularly 'twist-tall arms and legs'. one of the most brilliant images ever.)

You have a magnificent way with details. The vague and ellusive details and metaphors you use, while slightly baffling, add all the more to your writing style. Your writing makes me think, makes me search for deeper meaning and the things unsaid but there nonetheless. I love your writing for that.

This was gorgeous. Empty, hollow, desolate yet so incredibly beautiful. They way you describe the scenery, the feelings, everything is just perfect. The way you captured Axel in this was just amazing, so true. This wasn't easy to read but maybe that's exactly what made it so unique. Thank you.

Gah. Brilliant. This is what depresses me about the whole Roxas/Axel thing - they didn't have enough TIME. Fanfiction is filling in the gaps, and doing a good job, - that was until I heard a Roxel game (well, in my eyes) is coming to Nintendo DS. Finally, some back-story. Fodder, I say.

This was fantastic, I can't begin to describe how amazing this story is! Axel becomes something more than a trickster, his actions are a bit more human; I almost wanted him to get his way.

The result of listening to string quartets? I wish I could be so inspired. Thank you for a beautiful piece with your usual talent for atmosphere and melancholy.
