Like everyone else I'm wondering: what was she talking about? To me it seemed like a dream, and she woke up in the end; but re-reading it I discovered that made little sense.

hm... I don't get it... A bit too abstract to follow for my taste, but I suppose its good in its own way. perhaps it leaves too much for the reader's imagination? (which I have little of)

At the starting, I thought you meant Cierra was getting pregnant or she had some sort of disease that shortens her life , (Cancer, etc.) -From the part she said 'I can feel it growing within me..'

As I read on, I pretty much knew that Cierra wouldn't be caught dead in a white dress (with her trademark red gown), or perhaps this is a Author's musing ;)

I'll think that Cierra is somewhere in Valhalla, and she's there, thinking about Ein while she's at it... Or she's grieving for Ein, towards with the white dress to show for mourning...

...Ha, perhaps I'm completely off what it's supposed to be. Great work, it leaves to keep many thinking ^^

Meh... I haven't seen Cierra's ending, which I suspect has the vital clue. Did she get infected by a Dark Progenitor, or what?

So... the poetic pattern of the story, forming a rhythm between the narrative and Cierra's thoughts, works very well. The writing, as typical of your work, is very strong with heavy imagery, detail, and metaphor.

The trouble is that the story is rather... weird. By which I mean, the scene is so poetic and picturesque that it doesn't feel in the slightest like Ein and Cierra who are playing it out. I just couldn't picture them the way you describe. This is definitely a good story, but I don't know that it's a good _fanfic_.

Oh, I do so love your pretty, pretty prose. *hugs it*

The lack of dialogue is done rather well, and italics are what we usually use for people's thoughts, so no worries there.

As for what's going on?

Well, Cierra's a bit depressed for this to be "OMG BABY", I'm guessing some type of disease. How close am I~?
