Anyway, I finally found some spare time so let's get to reviewing, shall we? From all the entries I have read so far, this has to be the most upbeat one. I think it's interesting that you've opted to write something fun with a song that clearly suggests angst as inspiration. There was one particular scene I could picture quite well. In the beginning, when Booth's trying to get Brennan to go with him, he's annoyed and practically drags her off by her hair. That moment reminded me of the opening scene of Woman in Limbo when Booth tries to get her in court on time. I think you made good use of something we have seen on the show and added your own bits afterwards. I want to thank you for participating in our challenge. It's amazing to see how many people embrace the concept of the NJC. Hopefully your muse will be co-operative again next month. |

I understand your interpretation of the lyrics - subtle love between Booth and Brennan. I liked your descriptions of Booth as he was trying to hurry Brennan off to court. I could visualise his face as his car broke down and Brennan's as she took control. All in all it was a nice piece, fun and upbeat. I'm glad you decided to enter and I hope we'll see more entries from you in future challenges |
