Yo have many stories that paint a realistic version of possible pasts of people. I really liked this fic.

Good work on developing Hakuba's character. He doesn't get much attention in fanfiction, an when he does, from what I've seen, it's usually just to provide a romantic interest for Kid. DX I think you did really well on this.

Every time I read a new story I'm humbled by the thought that goes into them, like this one. I don't know if the Ice Detective's back story is this officially, but it should be.
