Haven't read such good one-shot in long time. So heartfelt, so depressing in its own way and so very 'Remus'. =) I could tell just how broken, tired, scared and guilty Remus felt. For a moment I was the part of this story, which made me completely understand the meaning of the story title. Beautiful. And how desperately he needed someone to talk to, someone to give him advice and help him through that period of his life, when everything seemed hopeless... How alone he had become.

So depressing. I think you capture Remus very well here, and i like the 'saying' Remus mentioned that Sirius had.

I like the part about Remus staring at the snapshot of Sirius "grinning like a psychopath, proudly patting your brand new motorcycle." That's great.

That's just the way I saw them... I mean, their story, his decision. And I always thought that maybe Sirius would help them, would make things easier, since he was so "take it easy" kind of guy (lol, I just love him).

I've written another short one, about how Remus felt after the whole arguing with Harry thing. Maybe I'll put that online someday. The funny thing is that it seems to me that you have the same line of thought that I do. So, obviously, I loved youf fic. =D
