I love this little fic. I can't so much see Lucius' personality come through properly here, but Bella and Cissa are really shining through. Good job with that. :)

I have had this story open on my desktop for more thn two weeks now. I keep thinking about what I want to say about it and finally I figured that I have digested enough and might as well give a go at a review.

First; I did not want to like this story, but I did. I usually do not enjoy the idea of an unfaithful Lucius, but this story just WORKS. The fact that she is such a kindred spirit with him and that having the Azkaban experience in common and as a motivator was a flawless mntal place to draw from. Brilliant.

Second, your choioce to use present tense made the piece stronger. That is so rarely done well and you did it. The present tense added to the urgency of the entire encounter and forced the readers to be entirely present in the moment with the characters. We were on the journey with Lucius and Bellatrix instead of witnessing something from the past.

Very nice work. As much as I hate it when Lucius cheats, you made me love a story all about that. Cheers!

Incredible. I both pitied and hated Lucius for his weakness. Your Bellatrix is mad but not cartoonishly so. The snake kissing bit was exactly the right note.

WOW. I very much enjoyed this. The dynamics between all the characters is fantastic and the dialogue clearly well thought out. How you've portrayed Lucius' character is exceptional. I loved it :)

I adored this. How the craziness of Bella is played out and how her seduction finds response in Lucius because they have both been in prison... And I loved the idea of the Dark Mark being a... well... pleasure spot for Bella. I just love this story!

Ooh! Power-play! And the Blacks! First, I think you had a few typos. "his defenses weaken from", I think you mean "weakened." And " i cold /i," were you trying to use italics? And if so, why? Other than that, I liked this a LOT. I love seeing Lucius realize his new position, and I'm curious about the dark mark thing. Why exactly would it have been comforting?
