It's good to know (if your bio is correct ;) that you still working on this fic.
I just read 3rd chapter and I would like to see it continued.
I'm reading (or rereading - as I found some of them in the past) all your fisc now and this one is certainly worth it.

This is actually really good. Even though Shinji seems to have even less than a backbone than he does canonly. Either way, I'm putting this on story alert for when you do update it.

Actually found "Grandfather" first over on Evafics. You've taken it along just enough to set the stage and to trigger my interest. The six months you estimated before your next update is long gone, so you should be just about ready to post the next chapter, right? Or has too much contact with the real world stunted your enthusiasm and inspiration?

I like your story so far, even if the time travel event wasn't attached to even a psuedoscientific explanation. The only events I can think of off-hand that could be used as a hook to hang time travel on would be when Unit 01 sank into the Dirac Sea where classical physics appears to break down, and during 3rd Impact. The point is not critical to your story, but I dislike loose ends.

I also think Shinji would figure out who "Silent Girl" is at about the same time he figures out that he had seen his mother and his younger self. Let's see . . . she looks and acts a lot like the Misato he knows. He has decided he probably went back in time ten years. . . Unless you have a good reason for delaying the recognition, he should have had the intuitive flash of insight and made the connections.

I also agree with another reviewer that thought Naoko's rather strong dislike of Yui could stand being toned down just a little. However, a plausible reason for her ire could have been that she had been working on a romantic relationship with Gendo when Yui came along and "stole" him.

My opinions are free, and worth every penny!

The entire idea is very original and interesting. I've never seen a time-travel NGE before, although I have thought about it(my ideas were never this in-depth, though). This has high-potential, although I don't get how Shinji could never remember being in the Geofront before while he seems to have spent quite an amount of time there as a child.

Future Shinji and Past Misato make a surprisingly cute couple, as creepy as the implications of that are.

I must say, this is quite possibly the most interesting spin on the whole time traveling notion that I have ever seen. And since you haven't really made anything set in stone yet (it's far too early to do so), the possibilities are, really, endless. I'm disappointed to hear that you won't be able to "do too much for the next six months or so", as I truly would like to see the direction you take this idea, however, I congratulate you on your employment and the excellent writing you have produced thus far. I eagerly await more!

this story is really good but where are you going with this? shinji goes back in time is he gonna tell his mom the future?

Anyway, I'm glad to see that your writing is as sharp as ever, and you've handled your time-travelling premise well. I'm intrigued to see how this story will develop but I'll be patient until the next update.

There were some spots that might need critiquing, but I can't specifically say what.
