Hey! I really like this! It's really good, and very Canon compliant! (It sounds a little like you've read either "Passive Men/ Wild Women" or "Men Are From Mars/Women Are From Venus", but it also sound like you've pegged exactly what these two personalities would face, when married to each other.)

Eowyn goes nuts dealing with a man who refuses to fight with her, but I hope she realizes this is a defense strategy Faramir developed early in life, to deal with his father.

Anyway, well done! :-D

Eowyn's just such a cool character. She is definitely Faramir's shield, since he's been so abused his whole life.

This is a gorgeous piece of writing, made so by the considerable skills you possess, and from being written straight from the heart. (Not to mention that I highly relate to the emotions expressed...)

Lovely snapshot of their life together. You capture both of their personalities very well in a small space, and it's fun to read about the day-to-day annoyances and pleasures that make up their relationship.

Marvelous! So good to have you back in the LOTR universe and writing this pair that you do so well! I think After the Storm is still one of my all-time favorite versions of their story.
