Awe, that was bittersweet in the beginning, but romantic in the end!

So glad to see this return! Thanks for taking a break from your Ph.D. work to do this. Lovely, as always. And only one more to go means...either you start all over or start a new series!

I've been SO hoping for a post-100 from you, and. . .sigh. I'm a happy girl. I felt like things went way off-course in 101, and I'm so glad that you make a point of showing how sensitive she can be to Booth and to the subtle (and not-so) shifts in their relationship. Let's see some Bones angst is all I'm sayin! And I love that you showed it in the context of her finally having the courage to go to him, and to keep going until she got past his defenses. When he says, "I thought I was going to have to live without this..." Oh. Oh. Oh.

Oh... You never seen to disapoint! This was awesome!

I love how he needed to get away to get his head straight. But Brennan couldn't stay away from him, and she needed to fix things. I loved how she totally followed him to make things right.

"I thought I was going to have to live without this," he whispered. "I thought you'd never let me love you."

That is my favorite part in this story. We have to know how happy he is, but we probably have no idea.

I'm glad that she finally let him love her, and like she said, she will be happy now.

This story was awesome, I loved how it was in a cabin in the woods. Because they were so alone, that they had to talk, and you know he wouldn't sent her back in that bad weather.

Gorgeous, as always, m'dear. Angsty and romantic without devolving into schmoopiness. I reread Sensate Focus today while B napped, and this chapter has become the cherry on my Jamie sundae! TGIF.

This bit really caught me, especially in light of last night's ep: "He looked perfectly perplexed, and … guarded. It was that caution she'd been despising; Booth had been so open with her, for as long as they'd been friends, but now he treated her like he was vaguely worried she'd strike out and bite him. She felt that distance now, and it pained her."

I guess what struck me about that passage is the absence of all of those emotions from his face at the end of PitP. It startled me, bc I'd grown used to perplexed/guarded/cautious Booth. So why'd it make me so sad to see him disappear? Obvs, I was sad because those emotions disappeared for the wrong woman. Le sigh.

Love this. :) Especially in the light of last night's episode that just oozed awkwardness like a disease, I love how you picked that up and ran with it and took it to warm, fluffy, butterfly-in-the-sky places. (If you don't know what that means, ask Liz.) This fic made the fact that I'm sitting in a house in Florida with no air conditioning a little less stuffy and a little more hot, if you know what I mean!

i love that you fixed them. and i love, love, love that you had Booth admit that he hadn't handled his declaration very well. it drives me *crazy* that no matter how many boards i visit, no one even mentions the fact that he has never once said "i love her(you)", other people say it, but never him. nor do they see fit to remember that GG's advice re:love was NOT 'grow a set', it was 'hope and patience'.
