A great story. Very good.

absoTuTely LOVE how u ended it, with the line from the book/movie.

I read this months ago, but reread it again after reading Stars Over Terabithia. I'll write a review there later, but that one's probably going to be significantly longer (I really hope you didn't abandon it btw).

Anyway... This plot is used so often and we see it everywhere, and that makes it difficult to write. But you did an incredible job here. It's simple, sweet and very emotional (in the good way). A little of Leslie's dialog at the end seems slightly out of place to me, though I can't quite put my finger on why. It's a very minor thing though. It's been a while since I saw the movie and even longer since I read the book but her character is quite memorable and you did an incredible job here of staying true to that memory.

I usually don't like the stories where Leslie still dies, but this is definitely my favorite of them. And your "Stars..." story is quickly becoming my favorite of the stories where she doesn't. Again, I really hope you keep writing Terabithia stories.

This is a great way to conclude, or rather, continue Jess and Leslie's story. By "continue" I refer to the eternity that stands before the two halves of a soul that are Jesse and Leslie. Death isn't an end, after all, but rather a passing on to some other existence (and I may argue that it's our lives here on earth that is actually just a short phase in what our _real_ lives in eternity must be).

At any rate, the ending somewhat reminds me of the movie Titanic (yeah, I managed to live through all three plus hours of it--every time).

Very touching and well written!

I really loved your stories and I've got to say you have great talent in writing.

But this one especially is dear to my heart because recently I saw the movie and I was heart broken that Leslie died like that. So I went onto this site to maybe find some closure. I went through a lot of stories but this one has given me the closure I was looking for.
