I adore this series, and all of the characters in it. The scene in the Dead Man's House nearly broke my heart, and you are a talented writer indeed to have captured the same atmosphere and interaction of characters that appeared in the original. :) My hat off you you

um, i would like it to have some sort of preamble or summat like that. can you possibly expand more and make this into a little longer, short story?

That's anice part of the story that we have not heard of yet. It's quite believable too, and plus, I'm a fan of Candy/Carrion so naturally a love this. Great piece!
