Hello! I suppose this is a really, really late review for this story, considering the fact that you’ve already completed it about a year ago, but I sincerely hope you don’t mind too much. I just thought…well, I wanted to say something, is all.

Ahahaha, my arrogance – please ignore it. Anyways, just to say this – I have only recently been pushed over the cliff into the KKM fandom, and so am randomly reading fanfictions just to satisfy my curiosity about what people have actually written about.

I find yours very interesting, to say the least. Many would have commented on this, and I want to comment too (!), the ending is a good twist. While I would have loved it if Yuuri managed to get Wolfram’s hand in marriage, I must agree that his enlightenment came a moment too late. And it’s good to know that Yuuri is not always the goody-two-shoes that will get everything his way once he understands something. Somehow, that is something that I find a little curious about general main characters – they ALWAYS manage to turn things their way.

Writing-style-wise, you started off with a different style, and then you ended with a different style. I suppose it must show your switch in style/growth/etc. In the beginning, I thought it sounded like you wanted to adopt a more sombre and dramatic voice, but at the end, everything was about wittiness, in which I found to be most amusing most times, and confusing at times.

Oh, and I don’t know if you would take this as an insult or compliment (but I mean it as a compliment!) – towards the end, you sounded like Günter on his best days. Speech for all characters seemed especially lofty (except for Yuuri…I think), and there were hidden barbs in all words. Scaary! It takes some effort to understand some of the underlying insults sometimes, and I find that a refreshing take, although sometimes there is the need to go back and re-read a few sentences, JUST to make sure I got the implied (playful) slur Wolfram decides to throw at Hedrid and Mikael, or Yuuri and the Great Daikenja for the matter. But that’s just probably because English is not my mothertongue, so don’t mind, don’t mind!

There’s one question though – does Wolfram know about the true purpose of Yuuri’s intentional “break-up” letter? ‘cause at one point, you had “…Small details that were a matter of national security were omitted, such as how exactly they found Wolfram…” so I’m assuming that Wolfram doesn’t know how they found him. And if he doesn’t know how they found him…then wouldn’t that go on to mean that he doesn’t know about the purpose of the letter (the one that he burnt to cinders)?

You see, my train of thought goes like this: the only reason Yuuri wrote the letter was to provoke Wolfram so that they can detect him via his magic. If Wolfram doesn’t know how they detected him…then how could he have known the point of the letter?

Or…um…am I just being stupid here? Wa! I dunno, I’m sorry, I’m sorry. That’s the line of thought my mind took, you see, so I was just…curious and I thought I should ask, and I really didn’t mean to annoy you, and – well. *shrugs*

So anyways! This is to commend you on your major effort (ah ha ha ha – again, my impudence comes into the picture)! Well done! Let me tell you that “You stole the sun” has proved to be a formidable distraction from my thesis. *grins*

Thank you for the time you’ve put into preparing such an interesting story for potential readers, and I’m sorry you had to come across people who decided that being different is bad, but be strong and know that your works are appreciated by countless other people.

Ok, I don't know why I never knew this had updated. But I read it now, so here's my belated review. I am not out for blood, I swear. This was the ONLY way this fic could have ended without being contrived, and I am really happy it ended this way even though it makes me sad. I need a sequel please though. This was a wonderful fic, and I loved it and its characterizations very much. Lovely job!

Damn, that was BEAUTIFULLY written! I've NEVER completely liked a story not ending with YUURAM, but I can find no fault with this ending. It was beautiful, sad, and full of hope.
I seriously love Yuuri and Wolfram, I can't even really tell you how much, but GREAT job! Excellent writer!

you know this is the first story that I don't mind Wolf with someone else at the end of the story. You did pretty damm well at it. I not mad. For those that are they could suck it up. hehehehe ok may be not.

I Hate It! I Wus Nut YUURAM

It's a nice story. But, you left me heart broken. T-T

I'm kind of sad that this is over. How pathetic is that, eh? But seriously, I am. At the same time, I think you did great with the ending. For once, I think it was *fair*. I mean, I *love* YuuRam. You'd have to be a psycopathic elitist YuuRam fan to one-up my love, but most of the fics, like you said, aren't unique. They're all the same thing being chewed up and spit back out repeatedly. XD Yuuri gets too much leeway. He *always* wins Wolf back, no matter what horrible things he does in whatever fic (i.e. cheating, dumping him for being a guy, trying to get him engaged to someone else, even accusing him of rape in this particularly strange story) and he always gets him back. For once I'm glad that someone, in my humble opinion, more deserving of Wolf won him. I think Mikael's doting fangirlism is adorable. :D LOL, Mikael's kingdom is a kingdom of Wolf fans. XD But I also love how you left the air clear, so to speak. The readers can envision whatever they want to happen in the future.

1. Wolf loves Mikael and stays with him till he dies. He doesn't return to Yuuri.
2. Same as above except he goes back to Yuuri.
3. He decides he doesn't love Miakel after all and eventually returns to Yuuri.
4. He loves neither of them, but stays in Mikael's kingdom.
5. ETC, ETC, ETC, ETC.

I *love* the options. :D So, yeah, good-bye. *Tearful* I'll miss this. D: If you're taking up original fiction, I'd love to read it (I'm actually, believe it or not, on fictionpress -- the original fiction site -- more often than here. XD) so please tell me if you post your work there. Unless you're planning on getting published, in which case, I'll buy your book. :) And maybe there's a sequel in the future for this? Even if there isn't, I hope you write more KKM fiction (someday...or whenever you get back to it). Or any fiction at all (though I hope it's something I know of or I might be otherwise disinterested...and most likely confused XD). Kay, bye for good now. :P

P.S. Don't listen to anyone who flames you about your decision. Mikael was *the* best OC in a fanfiction I've ever read. He was in no way Sue-ish. I'm his biggest fan. 8D Also, excuse any typos. I type faster than I think, sometimes. XD Um, bye.

I finally got around to finishing this XD.

I really really liked the way you ended the story, painful but (as you said) warm warm warm. It didn't feel like an ending but a beginning, as if the story of each of their lives is just now starting. There is hope and a possible bright future for all concerned. The only one I feel bad about is Greta.

This ending makes your story so much stronger and more unique than if you had ended it with Yuuram. Wolfram here is strong and independent in his actions/words, and that is always nice to see. Also, you created and depicted OCs that are interesting and likeable, so much so that even die hard Yuuram fans encouraged you to end your story with WolfxOC. Plus, you included the possibility that Wolf would eventually end up with both (Yuuri in the long run)...that's right, Wolf should get everyone he wants b/c he's just that awesome. ~_^ I enjoyed your story very much (and so did lots of other people); thanks for sharing!
