I wonder if the black warrior is connected to the Third who talked to Carlos the night he left with Nocturne.
At the end of the previous chapter, I thought Julie was beginning to grow her own personality. Now i'm in half mind about her.
Carlos's power is growing pretty fast, is it not?

This chapter leaves in mind a series of detailed , airfull scenes - each created with only a few sentences. Impressive.
Quite an ending to the chapter. I wonder if Ashley and his feelings for her will pop again, or if it'll turn into some sort of distant ache for him.
