Ilana_Eyehier 2002-04-27 . chapter 1 Wow, you have managed to sum up the entire Lord of the Rings trilogy! And very well! |
OPked 2002-01-29 . chapter 1ah....this is the best summary that ive read so far...also cleared a lot of stuff up,like why they went to the Paths of the Dead.its a very good summary. |
Si-poo 2001-11-23 . chapter 1That was really good! I could never summerize LOTR so well.I'd probably make a really big mess of it.Hope u win, or won, depending if the contest's bn yet!! |
watercreature 2001-08-31 . chapter 1 Great summary. It was definitely not a boring essay.
I think it would have even made Tolkien proud. |
Blanton Cirith 2001-08-11 . chapter 1nope. She usually asks for theme stuff, but I don't think this particular book report will need input on a theme. Thank the Valar! |
MarieAmethyst 2001-08-10 . chapter 1*claps*Wonderful,Blanton! I normally don't read essays, but seeing it was by you I just knew it was going to be good! And it was!^^ You summed up over a 1,000 pages excellently, and I'd recommend this to anyone who hasn't read the books, but are looking for info on it. Your teacher better give you an A,or send her to me! :p And good luck with the contest(like you need it,ne?^_~)! |
Tary 2001-08-10 . chapter 1 Neat... I have a question. This seems to be only the "summary" part of the report. Does your teacher require a thesis and some sort of new angle/theme you must prove, or is just a summary ok for a book report? Man, if it's the latter, I am very very jealous... (I had to do this Call of the Wild report one time where I had to prove that London broke the book into 6 corresponding, opposing sections with a theme for each... ugh...) ^_^ Anyway, I enjoyed the language usage here (it fits neatly with Tolkien's style, and isn't dry and boring as a lot of essays tend to be), and that's very important for an essay. Good job; I hope, whenever you get around to submitting it to your teacher, you do well! |
