I loved this! I loved how you mixed Greek mythology with Artemis Fowl, how each side character (Charon and Eurydice in particular) had so much personality, how Artemis planned his own death to bring Holly back, how you kept the beginning vague and only let us realise later on why he had given up his own life, and how he was confident and purposeful even after death - this part really screams Artemis to me: 'Artemis Fowl had not died simply because. No, he died because he had a mission in death.'

Very creative writing, too, especially with your description of the Underworld - Eurydice's cottage, Hades and Persephone's palace, the tapestries of the great tragedies, and all the characters and details and stories and references; I had to try quite hard just to absorb it all. The re-weaving of the tapestry at the end was a beautiful touch :)

I absolutely adore greek legends, and I love Artemis Fowl, and I'm am positively enthraled by the realism you placed into the character of Artemis. I must admit, the modern twist on the Underworld was an interesting development, and I loved it!

I know I said in my profile that I don't really like Artemis and Holly together, but this story is an exception. Absolutely brilliant! I really like Greek mythology (although I'm not very good at it) and you just combined 2 of my favorite things together! So, cheers!

I was also listening to How to Save a Life by The Fray while reading the part where Artemis and Holly give up their lives for Orpheus and Eurydice and it just seemed like a good song to listen to while reading the last chapter.

Lovely story :D I rather like how you incorporated the Greek legends into the story, although I wish I could have seen a little about what happened to them afterwards. Did they just stay there? Or go to heaven or whatnot. The re-weaving of the Greek tapestries at the end was a nice touch to the end of the fic. Great job
